The Ajith-Trisha starrer, Kireedam produced jointly by Sujatha Cine Arts and Ad Labs, Mumbai is complete and awaiting it’s release. The romantic-action flick directed by Vijay introduces two villains - Telugu actor Ajay Kumar and Marathi actor Ravi Kale to Kollywood. Based on father-son bonding, Raj Kiran acts as the father and Ajith his son. Loads of technical effects have gone into the making of the film and cameraman Thiru used three cameras the 435, Jimmy Jip and ari flex besides akela crane to shoot the climax portions composed by stunts director Super Subbarayan. Ajith who had undergone five surgeries for his broken back neither used any dupe nor ropes for the thrilling action episode speaks volumes for the actor’s grit and determination to bring that authentic touch.

Dhik Dhik launch
Producer Guru Muneeswaran held a grand muhurat at AVM Studios for his forthcoming film, Dhik Dhik. Hero Tarun Bala, cinematographer Santaniyo, director Igore, music director D Iman, chief guests K Bhagyaraj, Poornima Bhagyaraj, heroines Saranya Bhagyaraj and Mumtaz are in the picture. Many film luminaries including KRG, Rama Narayan and Kalaipuli G Sekharan graced the occasion.

Nandhu unique competition
Producer SV Solairaja hit upon a new idea to promote the Trisha, Prakash Raj, Nasser starrer, Nandhu. He is releasing the cassettes and CDs of his film without featuring the names of the singers or the lyricists for the songs in the label. Instead their names are given as a bunch and the audience has to identify who wrote which song and who sang it. From among those who gave the right answers, two will be picked up by lottery and will be sent on a holiday trip to Singapore at the expense of the producer. The next hundred will get Nandhu T shirts. Manisharma has scored the music for the six songs written by Palani Bharathi and Yuva Bharathi. The twelve singers are Shreya Ghosal, Chinmayi, Anitha, Swarnalatha, Shalini, Suchitra, Karthik, Ranjith, Anantu and Prasanna. The woman-centric Thiru Vikram directed film is slated for a June release.
